A collection of gallery wall inspiration. Can you tell that I like a lot of stuff on the walls?

I hope you all have a wonderful, wonderful Christmas day today filled with joy, food, warmth, and presents! Gather your family around and watch this video because it’s just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Cheers.

Is it just me or is there a lack of beautiful Christmas stockings out there? I’ve found one online that I really love. It’s this one from roddyandginger‘s Etsy shop. Everything else I’ve seen seems over-embellished and … well, not attractive. Do you guys have any stocking favorites out there that you find spectacular? Please share! I know they must exist!

'log lady's got nothing on this' hand-stitched embroidery in frame

Bug Miscellany is Kelli of Seattle, Washington. She brings the earthy craftiness of the Northwest to her embroidery and stitchery of all sorts. Right now in her Etsy shop you will find holiday ornaments, framed art, cat toys, plushies, and rings and pins made of polymer clay. She says her shop is filled with “handmade curiousities inspired by the natural world.” And how lovely and true is that?!

Click on any of the photos to see them in their natural state!

Charlotte Gainsbourg has been a favorite of mine since I discovered her album IRM which came out in 2009. Her latest three albums, which were released beginning in 2006, are definitely her best. Her first album came out in 1986, and I think it’s something everyone kind of wants to forget … if they ever heard of it at all.

The 40-year-old mother of three was born to an English actress-mother and a French singer-songwriter-actor-director father. Her creative quirkiness definitely runs in the family.

This song comes from her latest album which was released on December 5th and includes eight new songs and ten live recordings of previously-released songs.

Charlotte Gainsbourg is kick-ass. I love her sound. I love her Frenchness. I love this song. This music video is so random and wonderful with its paranoia and body-double back-up dancers doing awkward dance moves. How could it not be awesome?

If we had managed to actually get Christmas cards out to people this year, I would have bought them from Rachel’s lovely online stationery shop Mercier Beaucoup.

And they would have been these…

or these…

or these…

or these…

Basically, I’m pretty glad we never got around to it because I love ALL OF THESE! (And more! See below.)

Based out of New York City, Rachel Mercier is the owner and curator of this lovely collection featuring many boutique brands. All of our favorites, basically.
The best thing about MB, however, is their Monthly Stationery Subscriptions. Wanna know what that means?
It means for only $36 you will receive three hand-selected greeting cards in a pretty little box with pretty little paper for three months in a row.

It’s like a little surprise present each month! And it doesn’t have to end after three months. You can get 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions. The cards you receive will be completely random and allow you to stock up your card selection for all last-minute card needs.

Do you remember that old commercial where the lady is in the other room when she hears her quests talking about how, “oh, my birthday is tomorrow!” and “oh, our anniversary is this weekend!” so she scuttles to her little cabinet and has every card she would ever need tucked in there? I love that! I’ve always wanted a little greeting card stash.
Well, here’s a good, fun way to do it!

Below are some more of my favorite Christmas cards from the shop. Click here to see more lovely non-holiday cards!
