…and the amazingness of Elsa Mora
If you wander around on Pinterest as much as I do, you may have seen her work. She was born and raised on an island off of Cuba and relocated to Los Angeles in her 30s. She has an Etsy shop and a wonderful blog, from which all of these amazing photographs of her work come from.
Enjoy.
print of the week :: erin dollar
[print of the week]
When making Two Houses, Erin Dollar of Pasadena, California was inspired by the ways we communicate silently with our friends and neighbors. Her art is lovely! She used to make beards too, but that got old. See her cute beard obsession on her Beardy Pinterest board.

a week in the life

Was blessed to have been able to celebrate a friend’s birthday up in Portland last weekend. There was much eating and walking and shopping. It really is a great city. I was asked for a few things-to-do-in-portland suggestions by an old friend a few days later and promptly drew up the most amazing Portland travel guide. It might have taken me 3 hours … but it’s delightful. It may just have to be published someday!

print of the week :: eszter schall
[print of the week]
In honor of good ol’ Saint Valentine, we have this sweet couple today, printed by Eszter Schall of Budakeszi, Hungary. She attended Novus Art School in Budapest and now focuses on illustration and graphic design. They’re sweet, don’t you think? They perfectly show what I love about love. They’re shielding each other from the rain and content with each other in this beautiful, but semi-depressing scene.
I hope each of you have a perfectly lovely Valentine’s Day!
