a long introductory video…

…and the amazingness of Elsa Mora

If you wander around on Pinterest as much as I do, you may have seen her work. She was born and raised on an island off of Cuba and relocated to Los Angeles in her 30s. She has an Etsy shop and a wonderful blog, from which all of these amazing photographs of her work come from.

Enjoy.

When making Two Houses, Erin Dollar of Pasadena, California was inspired by the ways we communicate silently with our friends and neighbors. Her art is lovely! She used to make beards too, but that got old. See her cute beard obsession on her Beardy Pinterest board.

  • Was blessed to have been able to celebrate a friend’s birthday up in Portland last weekend. There was much eating and walking and shopping. It really is a great city. I was asked for a few things-to-do-in-portland suggestions by an old friend a few days later and promptly drew up the most amazing Portland travel guide. It might have taken me 3 hours … but it’s delightful. It may just have to be published someday!
